We are in a new state-of-the-art facility and have an immediate opening for an experienced Financial Services Manager to join our growing team. Position Overview:

As a Financial Services Manager (FSM), you will be sales motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will be responsible for the completion of sales contracts, arranging financing options, and promoting a range of aftermarket products such as insurance, extended warranties, accessories, etc. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless customer experience, driving revenue through finance and insurance sales and ensuring the accuracy of all documents pertaining to the sale and lease of new and pre-owned vehicles. The successful candidate will have an engaging personality and the ability to easily interact with different clients to deliver sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong customer confidence in Clarington Hyundai and the Hyundai brand through professional, customer-focused service – maintaining a high level of courtesy and integrity in every interaction.
  • Drive additional revenue by selling financial and insurance programs (e.g. extended warranties, life, accident and health insurance plans), appearance protection packages, and accessories to new and used vehicle customers.
  • Secure financing approvals from various lending sources to best meet customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with finance companies, banks, manufacturer financing centre, suppliers, and customers.
  • Maintain a firm understanding of current manufacturer-specific vehicles, rebates, finance, and incentive programs.
  • Prepare all documentation required for vehicle registration, contracts, funding, etc. in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Liaise with the Service department and Sales team to schedule customer vehicle deliveries.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and maintain revenue reports.
  • Attend and complete training and development courses as required.
  • Support daily operations and success by performing additional duties as required.

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry as a Financial Services Manager.
  • Previous experience with First Canadian, PBS, and Deskit software is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and customer-service skills, prioritizing energy and enthusiasm in every interaction.
  • The ability to handle high pressure situations with grace, utilizing strong problem-solving skills.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • The ability to take initiative to help drive success in the Financial Services department
  • Meticulous attention to detail, maintaining data accuracy.
  • Must have a valid OMVIC License
  • Must have a valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License
